Larry Flynt and Max Hardcore talk Free Speech

Univeral City, CA - Recently at the Free Speech Coalition's Gala Benefit and Auction Diner at the Globe Theatre, Adult News Flash with new correspondent, Zander Kane got a rare impromptu interview with legendary publisher and free speech advocate, Larry Flynt and extreme porn producer, Max Hardcore who, a couple days earlier was sentenced on federal obscenity charges.

Adult News Flash and Zander had just interviewed the host of the program, Chi Chi La Rue when we noticed Larry Flynt sitting at the front table. Zander was a little hesitant to go up to Mr. Flynt, but with a little coaxing, went up to and got the interview.

Larry Flynt, publisher of Hustler magazine has had several battles involvng the First Amendment which was dramatized in the 1996 motion picture, The People vs. Larry Flynt. He spoke of the importance of the Free Speech Coalition and wished there were more grass roots organizations to support our freedoms which he feels that are being challanged by the current administration.

Soon after the Larry Flynt interview, we saw Max Hardcore at the event. In 2007 Max Hardcore was indicted by the United States Department of Justice Obscenity Prosecution Task Force on 10 counts of federal obscenity charges in Tampa, Florida and was found guilty on all charges in June 2008. A few days before the event Max was sentenced to 46 months in prison, but was free pending apeal. Max commented on the recent events happening in his life and the Free Speech Coalition's involvement in his struggles. He was also optimistic on his prevailing on his appeal. Max is a loss for words and talked about being inn the business for 18 years and how he has the support of his fans.
